Andrew Weaver, who has now become a player coach returns chasing 100 1st XV appearances this season, as does Ewan Bartlett who has shown fantastic resilience to return from long term injuries in recent years to continue to challenge for a 1st XV shirt.

What is most exciting about this list however is it includes a range of your talent who have come through the Colts, a number of whom are expected to represent the 1st XV this year including Leo Connolly, who has just come of the back of representing the Midlands in the U20’s divisional festival, Sam Racklyeft who made his debut at Redruth last season, and Harvey Bray, the exciting young prop who showed great development through last season.

They are joined by players who played a huge role in the success of the Staghounds and U23s last year such as Matt Worthy, Logan Whittingham, Alfie Whittingham, Will Spires, Alex Cooke and Noah Reeve.

Shuan Hubbard who has 4 1st XV appearances also returns alongside is brother Liam as does Finn Deevey – Ryan who is hopefully of putting two difficult years with injury behind, whilst Lewis Gardner will want to do the same once he returns from his knee injury in the middle of the season.

Finally it is great to be welcoming back Sam Everett, who has 12 tries in his 33 first team appearances, Tom Robinson and Dale Bowyer, who before a knee injury was on course to set a record number of tries for hooker, scoring 10 before mid – November.
