After a really positive set of sessions in April and May, the 1st XV squad are returning for pre-season next Tuesday (29th June) in preparation for the 2021/22 season, where we will be competing in National 2 South for the first time in over 10 years.

Although the year’s break has been challenging for everyone involved with HRFC, we are returning in a great place, with all signs pointing towards the league season beginning as planned, at home to Barnes RFC from London, on Saturday 4th September.

More details on the squad will be announced in the coming weeks, but supporters will be pleased to know the turnover in this extended off season has the lowest it has been in many years, making a huge difference to our ability to hit the ground running when it comes to working developing our way of playing for the new year.

Training sessions are from 7.15pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, continuing to work under COVID protocols for as long as they are in place and new players continue to be welcome at any time.

Pre-season fixtures will then begin from Saturday 7th August, with 3 of the 4 weeks of fixtures taking place at Leicester Road. Full details will be announced in the coming weeks.
